Shaheer Sheikh Finally REACTS On Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali’s Abrupt Ending
Shaheer Sheikh is geared up for his new show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke with actress Rhea Sharma. The actor was last seen on Colors TV Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali wherein he portrayed the character of Salim. The show was larger than life but unfortunately it ended abruptly on January 3 after running for 3 months. Confirming the news exclusively to SpotboyE.com, the show’s producer Anirudh Pathak said, "It’s sudden and tragic but I respect the decision of Colors. We are planning to revive the same idea for other OTT platforms with same cast & crew."

However, Shaheer has a different take on its ending. When asked if he regrets that it ended up so soon, Shaheer replied, "No, I feel it ended on the right note. It would have looked dragged incase if it had been aired for few more days. I believe in finite shows".

Well the actor also revealed that Salim was his best character till date, "I would say that was extremely excited for my character of Salim. I had done lot of preparations mentally, trained myself before we started shooting. I enjoyed the way the story-line was progressing and all the scenes that I performed were so good. Don't know if I have done justice with the character or not. But, I enjoyed it to the core as the quality was maintained till its last day which reflected onscreen also.”

Shaheer might believe in finite shows but the actor is set to explore a family drama with Star Plus' new show. Talking about it, he mentioned, "I am all set. I have lot of expectations from this show also because Rajan Sir has promised me a lot of things for my character ki mere andar koi aatma nahi aayegi, mere paas koi super powers nahi aayenge and mera punar janam bhi nahi hoga (laughs). But on a serious note, I am looking forward for Abir and the show. It is very real and the way people related themselves to Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, the same way they will relate to this show too".
